PHYSICIST/RADIATION SAFETY SPECIALIST - 14644
New York, NYLMI is seeking a Physicist/Radiation Safety Specialist to support our DHS client. This is a part-time, on-site position in the New York City area. You must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities
- Lead conformance testing for personal radiation detection devices
- Develop and refine standard operating procedures for testing radiation detection devices
- Potentially perform radiation safety officer (RSO) duties, as necessary
Qualifications
- Masters degree or higher in an applicable discipline
- Understanding of conformance testing and calibration of radiation detection equipment
- Strong team player with customer-focused attitude
- Ability to pass a DHS background investigation
Target salary range: $120,000 - $200,000
